Hailing from Russellville, Arkansas, USA, The Sound of the Mountain formed in the latter stages of 2008. Like looking upon an expansive landscape, The Sound of the Mountain paint out extensive details of their songs, lending a soundtrack-esque feel as you listen to the multitude of movements and layers, each a little different to the last. All set alongside a colossal rhythm section that echo and clash like a thunderstorm.
